About Higher Education 4.0

Higher Education 4.0 is an ambitious, innovative, and collaborative project from the Atlantic Technological University (ATU).

This project has two distinct themes:

Career and Learning Pathways into and through Higher Education

Agile programmes responsive to the needs of learners and employers

By developing a new suite of tools and services, Higher Education 4.0 is providing greater access to third-level education, enhancing partnerships with employers, and meeting more diverse student needs.

The Career and Learning Pathways programme supports Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and the online career guidance service, MyCareerPath. It is externally focused on accessibility and future proofing learners with relevant skills for employment.

The second theme under Higher Education 4.0 is the internal facing Innovation Projects, which aims to build an agile system and infrastructure to allow ATU to respond quickly to employer and learner needs in an efficient and cost-effective way.
