ATU MyCareerPath to support SMEs in region
Funding, scaling opportunities, and workforce skills development to be discussed
ATU’s MyCareerPath team is delighted to participate in the upcoming “Ask Me Anything – Free Business Supports Breakfast” hosted as part of the West Regional Skills Forum.
Taking place at the Athlone Springs Hotel on Wednesday, 27 May, from 7.30am to 9am, the event brings together businesses, education providers, and support agencies to discuss funding, scaling opportunities, and workforce skills development.
This session is about helping SMEs quickly understand what supports are available and how to access them.
Attendees will have the opportunity to connect directly with experts, including those from MyCareerPath, Enterprise Ireland, BIA Innovator Campus, and Platform 94, and explore the wide range of supports available in one place.
We look forward to showcasing how MyCareerPath supports lifelong learning, upskilling, and career development across the region.

MyCareerPath Manager Bridie Killoran
Meanwhile, later in the week, MyCareerPath will attend the Association of Higher Education Career Services (AHECS) Biennial Conference for career development professionals across Ireland.
The AHECS conference will take place in Cork and brings together thought leaders, practitioners, and innovators for two days of learning, networking, and collaboration.
The conference theme is ‘Reimagining Career Development Learning in the VUCA Age: Harnessing the Human Advantage’, rethinking career development learning in an era shaped by artificial intelligence, automation, political and social change and uncertainty on a global scale.
ATU MyCareerPath Manager Bridie Killoran will present a workshop at the event, titled ‘Future Ready Skills: Mastering Transversal Competencies for Sustainable Employability.’ The focus of our workshop will be ATU's new micro-credential in Transversal Skills.
