ATU/MyCareerPath empowering future pharmacists

Workshop on Atlantic Technological University's Sligo campus a success

ATU/MyCareerPath had the pleasure of delivering the workshop “Strengths and Personality Uncovered with ATU/MyCareerPath” to first-year students on the new Master of Pharmacy programme at ATU Sligo recently.

This engaging session marked the beginning of a five-year developmental journey, integrated within the Pharmacy Practice modules, designed to support students in building self-awareness, reflective thinking, and career confidence.

A heartfelt thank you to Mairead Casserly (Lecturer in Clinical Pharmacy & Pharmacy Practice) and Patricia Ging (Lecturer in Pharmacology & Pharmacy) for their collaboration and support in facilitating this workshop and helping shape the programme.

We wish students the very best as they embark on this exciting path toward becoming future Pharmacists!

Testimonial from Mairead Casserly

“Thank you Bridie and Maura for your fantastic Strengths Profile and the Personality assessment workshop for our new MPharm students. It was a fun workshop but more importantly, it was a very useful exercise to kick start reflective thinking. This is a practice that the MPharm students will continue to build on, with the assistance of MyCareerPath throughout the five years of the MPharm programme and into the future as practising Pharmacists.”
