ATU sponsors schools' Rubik's Cube challenge

Atlantic Technological University, along with Galway City Partnership, are sponsoring a Rubik’s Cube schools’ competition in Galway Community College’s auditorium tomorrow, Thursday, from 10am to 1pm.
Organised by the Galway Community College Rubik’s Cube Club, this event promises a fantastic morning of problem-solving and friendly competition. It's a great chance for students to showcase skills, meet fellow students, and experience the thrill of tackling the iconic Rubik’s Cube.
Students of all ages will take part in a fun, brain-boosting Rubik’s Cube Competition, which is hosted at the Galway Roscommon Educational Training Board (GRETB) school and is proudly sponsored by Galway City Partnership and ATU.
Indeed, staff from ATU Access & Widening Participation office will be available to offer information on financial and academic supports available to students coming to university.
There will also be speed cubing competitions, Rubik’s Cube relays, great prizes and more at the event in Galway Community College.
Beyond the fun, this competition offers valuable benefits. It encourages teamwork, enhances critical thinking, and strengthens STEM skills.
