Business Engagement Highlights from mycareerpath.ie

The mycareerpath.ie team have had a busy start to the new academic year with visits to the World Skills Ireland exhibition in Dublin, the Medical Technology Ireland event in Galway, and the Excellence in Learning Awards in Kildare.

The team in Galway received positive feedback, and lot of interest, from Learning and Development leaders in Medical Technology. It was also a chance to catch up with business partners who had engaged with the pilot process and update them on service developments.

In Dublin the team introduced the Strengths Path Programme to the many Guidance Counsellors who were in attendance at the event. They also reported back on the enthusiastic response of students to the Strengths Path Programme. A real highlight of the event was meeting Minister Simon Harris and discussing mycareerpath.ie with him.

Bridie Killoran, mycareerpath.ie manager, was at the Excellence in Learning Awards where she presented the Best Graduate Development Initiative Award. This award celebrates the best-in-class graduate initiatives in Ireland over the past 12 months. The Winner on the night, Learning Waves, provides training for people working in the Independent Commercial Radio Sector in Ireland.
