We have begun rolling out professional recording booths to all campus locations. Funded by the Higher Education 4.0 project, the new studios will support ATU staff in creating state-of-the-art online content.
The new studios feature, a professional grade microphone, key lights, webcam and a green screen. It also has a stream deck controller which allows you to switch between presentation modes. For example, you can show just your PowerPoint, just yourself or use the ‘picture in picture’ mode which allows you to appear in the presentation.
The studios also feature the Epic Pen annotation app which allows you to annotate your slides as you work through your presentation.
There are currently booths in 4 ATU locations with ones planned for all ATU campus locations by the end of the Higher Education 4.0 project.
The Instructional Design team, led by Louise Kearins, are on hand to support any academic staff who want to update their online content to take advantage of the latest in technology and online learning best practices.
The how to video, which was recorded in the Sligo booth, is available here.
Please note booths are only accessible to ATU Staff.
